Linda and I are getting ready to go on a Canadian fishing trip. So, we head up to Alexander's Landing Marine on Buckeye Lake to get a few things for the boat.
Thanks Grace for all the help. Just a mile away on Lake road it is harvest time.
Or right across the road the “beans” are still growing.
Have to have a picture of a barn.
Still have some work to do, but I think I’ll stop by Pleasant Valley Golf Course on the way home.
Now I want to say Congratulations Linda and The Teddy Bears on being given:
The LOVE MY FRIENDS AWARD:
Thank you Words of Wisdom From a Smart Mouth Broad.
Lovely pics as always!
ReplyDeleteCame from SMB's place. Loved your photo tour.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I love your header. A man after my own heart. Second I love the lake pictures and the farm pictures. I thought midwestern barns were all red! Maybe the white is a primer coat (yeah right).
ReplyDeleteNice tour through your part of the country. Coming from eastern New Mexico, my favorite shots were the ones of the water, of course! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMarvelous shots! What a terrific photo tour! Love the water shots, but farm pics are wonderful! Thanks for the tour and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful captures!
ReplyDeleteMy country girl heart loves the hay scenes though. :)
We're neighbors I see. I'm just across the Ohio River in WV.
Thanks for the lovely comment about my name. :)
Have a wonderful fishing trip.
great captures from the water to the land...enjoyed each and every one.

Nice series of photos. I know different crops mature at different times, but I'm not yet mentally ready to think of "harvest" time; sounds too much like "fall"!

ReplyDeletegreat pics that made me want to visit there
ReplyDeleteGreat snaps! Love the contrast between the fishing shot and those down on the farm. I've always had an affinity for wheat fields...
