I love this ... and thank you for posting the video about saving heirloom tomato seeds. I have my first heirloom plant this year ... it's been extremely slow in growing but I think we'll get at least one tomato. So ... I want to save the seeds and next year, get a plant growing early.

Hi Joe/Linda, Thanks for visiting my blog. Please come back anytime! My hubby and I are retired and into gardening. However our garden is full of FLOWERS and not veggies. We grow hybrid tea roses --along with many other perennials.
The Community Gardening idea sounds very interesting. Seems like it is something that many people should be interested in. Thanks for sharing...

Thanks for your comment on my veggie garden post. I used to garden at the apartment where my daughter lived, and her neighbor upstairs took an interest, so I divided the garden with him and his girlfriend the second year. They ended up abandoning their section, so I had to get rid of the weeds. When she moved, I tried to get her landlord to let our local community gardens organization garden there, but I think he ended up planting grass over it, or just kept it mowed.
Community gardens are awesome!
Very useful blog. I'm one of the weirdos who doesn't like tomartos (that's how we pronounce them lol)
