Almost all the conveniences of home but not quite.
The best out-house I’ve ever been in.

Looks like a lot of fun, Joe. Well....except for the fish hook and the outhouse.

Thanks, Renee and Cullen
I can feel the cool and smell the woods from here.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can almost (but not completely, thank God) feel the pain of that hooked finger!
You have a lovely time by the looks of it! The surroundings are great! But I don't like the look of that fish hook a bit.
ReplyDeleteThe outhouse is better than the toilet in my slide.
OUCH!!
ReplyDeleteOntario is such a beautiful province--looks like you had a great time, except for the fish hook in your (?) finger.
I led a bicycle tour through the Saint Lawrence River valley for American Youth Hostels (AYH) in 1970--great memories.
I hate when that fish hook thing happens! Ouch! Hope you had lots of iodine on hand?
ReplyDeleteLast time I used an outhouse was at my daughter's in-laws cottage last summer. It wasn't until I got seated and had begun my business that I discovered I was sharing the space with a wasps nest.
Therein followed a very stressful five minutes before I escaped unstung.
This is quite an adventure. The fish hook is a bit scary, but looks like a great time otherwise!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry if I missed it, but I could not find a reference or link to the My World Tuesday site. Please be so kind to clearly reference My World posts when you link from the site and clearly link back so others can participate if they wish.
Thank you so much!
Louise sorry about that
ReplyDeleteYou're still trying for sympathy for the fish hook incident I see Joe! None of that here :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pics
Ah, Joe, ANOTHER failed suicide attempt. Guess you couldn't take your gun to Canada, eh?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great lodge! Have you been before?
It looks like Ted R. found you a great spot to fish and hang out. If it were me, though, I would have asked him to find me a flush toilet.
