Just north of Vine St. you will find the North Market. I found it to be a great place to explore and have a great lunch.
I recently visit Julie's blog and had a chance to visit Pikes Market in Seattle via the internet and thought, “there is a market in Columbus,Ohio.” ( I will get to Pikes Market in person)
You can follow what’s going on at the market on Twitter,Facebook, or their very own Blog .
I arrived just after they opened and was surprised to find several bicycles in the parking lot. Actually, there were more bicycles than cars to start with.
All around the market are some great places to eat. I have yet to check them all out but will make it a priority.
Leaving the North Market behind and heading south on High Street I find myself in downtown Columbus.
Next stop German Village but that will be another post.
Joe: I've never been here but it looks like a fun time, been to German Village and it is a great place to dine.
ReplyDeleteHi Joe. Those were great pictures of the market. We love places like that. (I'm hungry now, though!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Thanks also for your comment on our blog on Chaco Cyn. It's a great life when we can enjoy places like that AND places like City Markets, isn't it?. So many great places to go (and not enough time).
Looks like a great market.
ReplyDeleteI love visiting markets like this when we travel...one of the best places to get local "souvenirs"
