Linda and I are back from New York and we had a great time. In the next couple days hope to get caught up with all my blogging friends.
That’s me on the left and Chuck on the right and we are getting ready to do a little fishing. Chuck lives near Wellsville and the Genesee River is only about 100 ft. behind his house.
There had been a lot of rain so the river was relatively high ( and cold ) and not as clear as usual. After a couple hours of fishing the score was Chuck four Todd zero. Chuck caught three trout and one smallmouth bass.
Linda had a great time to. She met some new bears.
Visiting Sprague's Maple Farms
Thanks Ginny and Chuck for a great visit. You should really turn your place into a Bed and Breakfast.
It's ok to get skunked fishing when you are having fun with friends.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a fun trip even though the fish didn't bite for you. It was a beautiful place. I love the photo with the bears too!
ReplyDeleteJoe: The weather changed so fast and fihing really fell off quickly. Those were neat photos of the area. That is a great part of the world.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty stream you had for fishing. Hey Linda way to go girl. We knew you would find them there bears in the woods ;-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great time ... and what a beautiful spot to fish ... even if you didn't have much luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your adventures with us!

Oh boy...a river 100' behind his house! What a treat! I bet it was beautiful, if a little bit chilly and dampish!
ReplyDeleteThese are great shots. I especially like the second one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful spot to spend fishing whether or not you caught anything. Thanks for dropping by Sacred Ruminations ;--)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
