LANCASTER,OHIO FORT MYERS BEACH, FLORIDA. A ROAD TRIP ON INTERSTATE 75
Well we are a few miles down the road and just about to enter the great state of Florida but need a break and some gas and who do we meet, Moses.
We told Moses we were on a wandering road trip and he told us, “just because your wandering doesn’t mean your lost.” He had a couple other pretty good stories and insisted we try some of those free samples. Boiled peanuts , boiling in the back of his building. and don’t forget Honey Roasted Pecans. Well we topped that off with a big glass of Orange Juice and we were on our way. Thanks Moses for your hospitality.
JOE TODD,LINDA,AND TED R.. SAY THANKS FOR STOPPING BY (NEXT STOP FORT MYERS BEACH,FLORIDA)

Moses is my kind of dude. What a fun post.
Hi Joe- I remember boiled peanuts. I liked them. But it will take more than that to ever get me back to Florida
What a fun trip! I remember my first time going to Florida and I too loved the roadside stands. They get less and less it seems as you go into the heart of Florida but boy they were a treat for a person who has never been there-like me.
It is such a shame how folks drive now a days. Glad you didn't have any mishaps and made it safely.
I guess oranges is what Florida does best :)
We love to stop at local stands like this and visiting with the vendors is the most fun of all.
We also love to try new foods wherever we are -- But I have to say that boiled peanuts is maybe the one thing we haven't acquired a taste for. We tried them a couple of times and just-- no.
Maybe we just got some bad ones? Maybe we need to try again.
Happy travels. We're looking forward to Ft Myers.
