It's hard to capture the silvery shine of sun through clouds, Joe, but you've done a good job. I try and I try and the grandness of the sky just never seems to end up in the camera.

Hi Joe, I'll bet we ALL ate a little too much on Christmas Day.... Was that a 'partridge' in your 'pear' (peach) tree?????? ha ha... Look around that tree and maybe you'll find "Five Golden Rings"..... Ya think????

Joe -- that was a perfect weekend after Christmas post. Beautiful and relaxing -- and I love the bird in the pear tree! We share your pain (too full tummy), but it sure could be worse.

I'm afraid he he getting discouraged. He has lots of interesting stories to tell. He has been a Marine, a jet pilot a helicopter pilot and highway patrolman and other interesting jobs.
