The second photo from top are of a few of the decorations at my sister Sara’s house. She and her husband Larry invited us over for the traditional “Meatless Thursday” meal. Linda and I didn’t go away hungry.

Hi Joe, I love all of your Christmas babies... I posted some of ours today also. Beautiful Christmas pictures...
Now--explain what and why is Meatless Thursday??? I have heard of Catholics not eating meat on Fridays--but have never heard of Meatless Thursdays.
Got snow??? We got a tiny bit during the night --but it's gone now.

Joe? Joe's sister? The pictures are adorable, but where's the meatless Thursday menu? ;>)

Ok I'll confess I'm "pulling my sisters leg" Being the "good brother" that I am I couldn't let this pass. Sara made a chicken and rice casserole the other night and invited us over for dinner, but forgot to put the chicken in. Hence meatless. Actually the pre-cooked chicken was in a seperate pkg. still in the refrigerator.Sara being the excellent cook that she is served a delicious meal. The casserole was just fine without the chicken. I was just thinking this would be a good tradition to start. So for next year Linda and I will be cooking for our "Meatless Thursday" the week prior to Christmas. So, as Paul Harvey always said, "And now you know the rest of the story."
I really appreciate your kindness in describing my meatless meal. I've had many laughs over this. Well, if you think that was something, wait until Christmas dinner!!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ;)
