Back to Ohio’s own Hocking Hills State Park FOR MY WORLD
Stop by THATS’S MY WORLD and learn more about the world we share.
Enjoy winters splendor on the 6-mile trek from Old Man’s Cave to Ash Cave. Refreshments are available at Cedar Falls for a donation. A shuttle bus returns hikers to Old Man’s Cave. 45th Annual Winter Hike January 16, 2010.
Since refreshments are going to be at Cedar Falls I think I’ll check it out in advance.
Weather in Ohio sure can change fast. These photos were taken just a day apart.
If your visiting this area a great place to stay is The Inn At Cedar Falls
I mentioned this Inn in a previous post and will be planning a holiday outing in the near future. As Always Thanks for stopping by.. (Christmas shopping almost done but still way behind on commenting)

Great shots Joe. They say here in Saskatchewan that if you don't like the weather, just wait an hour. lol.

Looks like a nice place Joe.
What great shots, Joe! I love your collages and particularly this time where you show the area with snow and without!
Have a very Happy Holiday season!

I love the way you showed us the differences within a day. Beautiful shots.
Hey Todd, (Are you Joe or Todd?????) Wow---Cedar Falls --especially in winter---is amazing. Glad you made that nice, long hike on a cold winter's day... I showed this one to George and he said we need to head that way someday.... Maybe we will!!!!!
Thanks for sharing the falls. I might even want to stay in the Inn. Do they have a nice restaurant there?????
Have a wonderful Christmas.

Joe: What a neat little park, great captures from Ohio.
Wow! That is a quick change! Both are splendid scenes, though. Nice captures...have a wonderful holiday season.
I do think that sun and snow make a great combination
Both views are lovely, wish I could hike there but it is a bit far from California.
Great pictures. Amazing how quickly the scene changed.
The weather can change fast here too. I like the idea of a winter hike in the park. Will you need to wear snowshoes?
The cave has me intrigued. There are caves around here that were the residences of fabled wanderers. Almost scary to think of going there. Beautiful shots.
Joe: That park is so interesting and your pictures capture it really well.
I will tell Bill about "OLd Man Cave" -- sounds like a perfect place for him to explore ;>)).
Thanks for sharing your adventures and hope you both have a wonderful Christmas.

The daughter and I went back into Conkles Hollow again yesterday and it was so pretty but without the sun I did not get very many good pictures.

A day apart? Wow, the before and after shots look really, really neat - beautiful shots. The park looks gorgeous.
