PHOTO TAKEN AT SSPOTTED HORSE RANCH IN THE HOCKING HILLS
A couple days ago I posted a STORY about a young boy, his hammer, nails, and a fence. Well just up the road there is a field with a couple horses in it.
This story showed up in another email I received and I enjoyed it as much as the story about "NAILS IN A FENCE" so I thought I would share. Will end the post with a few photos from the Hocking Hills Hike. Just for SCENIC SUNDAY
This year the six mile hike seemed to me to be a little more strenuous than usual (I did finish). I guess I’m getting a little older and I know for sure I need to exercise more and loose some weight. Does that sound like a resolution? Will give periodic updates on how the “resolution” is coming… LOL
As Always Thanks For Stopping By

Most of us can say that, Joe... There are many of us who can say we don't get enough exercise and need to lose weight. Glad you made the six miles though... That's a pretty long hike--but oh, how beautiful... Love seeing the pictures.. Thanks!
The story is wonderful also. I have read it before--but always enjoy reading it again.
Snow here today/tonight...Gorgeous!!!!

I love the story about the horses! How wonderful and it is the first time I'd seen it. Thanks for posting. Looks like a pretty great hike and good for you!! Great captures as always! Enjoy your weekend, Joe!

Bravo to you for completing the 6-mile hike. I wouldn't have been able to do it. I definitely need to exercise and loose weight. Beautiful photographs, especially the one of the frozen water falling. I enjoyed the horse story as well.
Great post and story. Sounds like a fantastic hike!
Great story, Nice photos too. Thanks for sharing!!!
Loved both the stories Joe... they both drive home good points for us to remember.
Congrats on completing the 6 mile hike ~ the fact you did it in the cold is even a bigger accomplishment! The frozen falls are gorgeous... and what are they making in those big stew pots?! Yum.
Hope you and Sara are having a nice weekend. Sun is shining, the sky is blue here... although only 28 degrees! :)
The blind horse and the bell, what a great lesson.
We used to play a TRUST game, where a person is blindfolded and has to trust the other person.
Oh wow 6 mile walk..congratulations!! Happy Sunday!
Frozen delight
Love the photos (framing with the nails on the left made a neat photo) and the story!
