ReplyDeleteAnyways, welcome to the addicting fun meme.
A very well choosen shots. Funfare on a snow.

Great shots Joe!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and yours :)
Wonderful pics! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteGreat shadow photos Joe! The shots of the lake are nice.
ReplyDeleteKewl photo for your header ;-)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your scenic and shadow snow mosaics. No snow here but LOTS of sunshine where I live, so I’ve shared A Mosaic of Neighborhood Shadows at Sacred Ruminations and ‘Critter Shadows’ at Small Reflections.
Hugs and blessings,
You will be glad to know I at least know where those two are LOL. That is some cold riding in Rising Park.
ReplyDeleteThe shadows from the man-made items are a bit utilitarian, but artistic. The tree looks like it is dancing. The look of the lake is impressive with its light icy coating. A lovely look at a wonderful new year!
ReplyDeleteTerrific shots, Joe! Great collection! Hope your new year is off to a great start! Wishing you all the good things! Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteWonderful photos - I like the colours too of the objects in the snow.
ReplyDeleteCheers.

Lovely shots of the shadows!
ReplyDeleteMY SSS post. Have a great weekend!
Great scenic shots.
ReplyDeleteMy shadow Shots, have a great weekend and a happy new year!
You have some good shadows showing up in the first set of photographs. My favorite photographs, though, are of Buckeye Lake. I like the blue / white contrast evident in the sky (blue sky and white clouds) and on the lake (deep blue water and white snow and ice). It was cold here, too, but we didn't have your sunshine. Perhaps it will reach us tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI think Old Man Winter has arrived. The snow makes everything look so pristine!
ReplyDeleteAll the best in 2010, Joe!
The tree shadow in the lower left of the first group is my favorite. And the merry-go-round is fabulous, too. Wonderful shots
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow/shadow/sun pictures at both the park and from the dock, Joe. It's too cold here also to get out and do much hiking. Our low this morning was about 13 and the high was only about 20... Tonight's low is going to be about 10 --or lower. GADS!!! We did get a little snow this morning--mostly flurries, nothing like what you have.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday... Thanks for the pictures.

ReplyDeleteThat snow is so beautiful. It's funny to see such a quiet playground area. Too cold for the kiddies I guess!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful collages.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are the ones with the shadows on the bright white snow.
Beautiful weather you have there.
As that you are into photography, I thought that you may be interested in a monthly blog posting called “5 on the fifth” where You can either take 5 random pictures of anything that happens to you on the 5th of the month(or the days leading up to it) or perhaps go for my suggested theme - which this month is Water.
ReplyDeleteJust post your pictures on your own blog and then post a comment on MY blog (on the 5th) with your name, location and link to your site – I then update the entry so the world has your link.
