  1. Well, at least the Ohio skies have varying shades of gray/grey, LOL!

  2. I love it, Joe!! And I do know about gray/grey/grim etc. etc. At least you've placed some color against the gray! Although I have to admit, gas prices are even more depressing than gray skies!! Have a great weekend!

  3. Our gas prices keep on rising also, Joe... If we think we 'might' need gas, we had better buy it on Sunday --because it will be 10 cents a gallon higher by Wednesday... GADS!!!!

We try to buy our gas either at Sam's or at Kroger's --to get it a little cheaper. But--even those two aren't that much cheaper now.... Oh well!!!!

  4. Joe -- we feel your gray pain! And also your grey pain. I have thought about posting a picture of, say for example, the cardboard on the back of a writing tablet -- and calling it skywatch; it would be quite accurate on many days here on the no-lake.

Enjoy the roadtrip -- it's time for one here too ;>)

  5. Joe: Ohio skies, aren't they just amazing for a few months. You have to shoot on the few good days or go to the archives.

  6. Oh sorry about the continuing grey skies, Spring will soon be on it's way. Petrol stations talk to each other other here too!

You are right, it is a long winter. Though we had a few patches of blue sky today.

  11. Gas stations are like politians - not many can be trusted and basically they are all the same.

It's amazing how grey skies really look so good.

  13. Roadtrip it is. I posted my last Sunday roadtrip pics last Monday and I am ready for another. We are having gray/grey skies too interspersed with a few hours a sun---but very unexpectedly.Maybe you could write a song called 'The Many Shades of Gray' or has that been done already? LOL

  15. Yes, your skies were plain old gray, but I like your creativity with the gas signs! Unfortunately, our gas prices are going up, too.
