Next time you talk to your son, tell him another grateful American says Rah, and Thanks from the bottom of my heart. My hubby is from Michigan and his family is in Ohio. Oh those grey days up there. He had to go there to work for 8 months, after his job ended here in NC. That was a loooong 8 months but he got back down to the South. He was there over the winter months and I think he had forgotten the feel of the unending cold, snow, and sunless skies. We all "adapt and overcome", though.. Semper Fidelis. Julie
This picture is absolutely breathtaking! I'm ready for warmer weather, but I wouldn't mind seeing this scene outside of my window just once before spring arrives. Fat chance, I know, but one can dream.
This is the kind of scene that makes it fun to go to places like this. We've had a lot of weather like this here, but I haven't had a chance to get out there while the fog was out. It's good to see it.
