What can possibly compete with HONEY
MAYBE MAPLE SYRUP MAN WILL GIVE US A TOUR…
KATHY AT THE EVAPORATER MAKING SURE THE TEMPERATURE AND LEVEL OF SAP IS JUST RIGHT.
For me going into nature is one way I live a spiritual lifestyle. I feel the man that has gathered sap has led a purposeful life. To be in touch with the bee and the tree as they go about their business of making honey and sap is a blessing in my life today and for that I am grateful. God’s Grace and an Attitude of Gratitude makes for a wonderful day to be alive.
AS WE HEAD BACK TO THE LAND OF MILK AND HONEY

Mmmmm. Honey. Oh and mmmm. Maple Syrup. Now I want some flap jacks to go with that!! Yummy Shadow Shots.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love that first shot! That is too cute! Honey and maple syrup...yum!
ReplyDeleteThe maple leaves a delicious sap that when cooked down makes for a tasty syrup. We once went to our local nature center for a tour of and the making of syrup. And at the end of the tour, warm maple syrup on vanilla ice cream. Such a treat! To bad it is so expensive, because pure maple makes a stack of pancakes so much better than the other kind...
ReplyDeleteI too love bees, Joe, and used to relax by sitting in the midst of a friend's many hives listening to the bees and smelling all the wonderful fragrances.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I did not know we had montsers roaming around at the Dawes. Good picture of the Honey Wagon,I could not get one. The show was smaller this year Joe. I was a little let down but I guess the economy is hitting everyone.
ReplyDeleteThat is one groovey looking car and a great advert for honey! I love the lst photo - it looks a magical place.
ReplyDeleteCheers.

ReplyDeleteOh yeah. Now you're talking. Nature's sweetener. Isn't our God amazing? I love everything about the whole honey-making process. Especially the dancing of the bees to tell the others where to go for nectar.... Sweet. Thanks for a Great Post. Enjoyed all of it.
ReplyDeleteMaple Syrup...the real stuff? what can I SAY? get some.
