A peacefulness follows any decision
Choices are the hinges of destiny.
Into every life a little rain must fall. How we deal with that rain is what determines our future. I love the days with no rain and easy choices. LOL

I'm opting for the beach. Ahh the sound of the waves crashing on the beach....my toes in the warm sand...and of course the drink with the tiny umbrella! Jude
Oh, I love the beach and for all the reasons Jude has written! Today here in Seattle it might not be the best place to be, but tomorrow will be better! Hope your week is off to a great start, Joe! Thanks as always for your visit/comment! Always appreciated!

So glad you guys had a good vacation! Great photos and thoughts. Thanks for sharing parts of your trip.
I do not swim. I would choose the ocean, though. I could sit for hours and watch the waves come into shore.
Ah, sigh... Lovely. I definitely prefer the beach.
I still haven't decided between the pool and the sea :)
Oh how wonderful that you two are in the sun and waves. What a beautiful spot.Have fun!!!
so wonderful. is that one of those "all inclusive" packages that they advertise? my husband and i are looking into trying one of these all inclusive vacations.
Beautiful 'watery' pictures, Joe... Hope you and Linda both took advantage of that gorgeous pool ---and also of the beach/ocean. Gorgeous.
Betsy
Looks like a great place for a relazing time! Awesome photos!
I love that beach shot! The path of the setting sun leading us onward, into tomorrow!
I am glad you use a pop up window for me to leave comments because your posts are irresistible to bypass. Like your little food for thought in every photo. But the African Proverb intrigued me most.
I ove your 'proverbial' rationalisation . . . and your photos.
Looks like Paradise. Great photos...my hubs n I are rock n roll oldies but goodies...enjoyed your music selection. We live near Lancaster Pa. Sounds like you are enjoying your life.
The Dominican Republic is such a beautiful spot. I was there decades ago in Puerto Plata and loved it though it has since changed so much. Your photos are stunning and display the essence of beauty in that area.
Fun beach pictures! They are quite beautiful. You should me s postcard! For the giveaway! Anne
I'm a beach girl too, but that pool is mighty tempting!
