Really not all that far from Lancaster,Ohio you can be in a different country and a lovely town with a lot of character Stratford,Ontario. I have found that Stratford and Lancaster are both great arts/festival towns.
For That’s My World Tuesday a visit to Stratford,Ontario
“Ahhhh Stratford! Let us introduce ourselves. Few places in Ontario are lovelier or more alive with culture and character than Stratford. We are a charming Victorian city nestled in pastoral countryside a few short hours from Toronto and the U.S. – a destination internationally renowned as one of North America’s great arts towns.” more.
GARDENS,PARKS,FLOWERS,QUAINT BUILDINGS AND MORE:
A couple of lovers and a wedding……………………………
Ah they are trying to hide behind the umbrella LOL
Probably saved some money on the flowers by having their wedding in this beautiful park & and the rain held off til after the wedding.
Guess who And so many beautiful flowers a collage to show you a few.
The waterway thru the park
To Dinner: Great food, atmosphere, and service. Then a little shopping. Captures the essence of the shopping experience in Stratford,Ontario. Lastly, The Shakespeare Festival theater.
Where we saw Kiss Me,Kate and the experience was a blast. The play wasn’t what I was expecting. Talk about funny… Where do the actors/actresses get all their energy??
William Shakespeare,Linda and Joe Todd say,”Thanks for stopping by & go see a play.”
AND: What would a vacation be without a little clowning around with your brother-in-law “Larry” and my sister “Sara” (at the toy store)……….
What a fun post, Joe! And what a great trip you had! Beautiful photos of a beautiful place! Thanks for sharing it with us! Have a great week!
