framedcollage1  Linda and I along with my sister Sara when I claim her and her husband Larry have been talking about taking a major trip/tour of the West sometime in the next year or two. Well a couple weeks ago “someone” bought a camping trailer and it wasn’t Linda or I. Sara keeps telling me “YOU BETTER GET READY.” Well I spent Saturday at ”The Show” and I may have found what I’m looking for.

The Sportsmen Classic (Amish built) by KZ Recreational Vehicles.

We have been looking at smaller units (light weight) & (Economical) that have everything we need. Yet this unit is big enough for 2 adults and in our case some GRAND CHILDREN.

A SPECIAL THANKS TO PHIL AND KERMIT FROM POST’S TRAVELAND FOR TAKING THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE MANY FEATURES OF THE SPORTSMEN CLASSIC. ( KERMIT IS THE “OLDER” DISTINGUISHED LOOKING GUY) lol

OH and this is IMPORTANT the PRICE was under $9000.00 dollars. Now I call that a great price. As I went around to see some of the other units at other dealers I found “pop ups” that are priced higher. There was one problem; I explained to Phil that I was the proud owner of five tents and I wondered if they would take them in on “trade”. Phil said,”Sorry we don’t take “tents” on trade.” Maybe when I head back up to Westerville to the dealership I’ll see what Kermit says. LOL

JOETODDSAYS210 As always thanks for stopping by and let’s think “ENJOY THE GREAT OUTDOORS” P.S. remember next Sat. is the Winter Hike in the Hocking Hills

  4. Those pix remind me of the boat we used to have. I loved it. We spent almost every summer weekend on it.
What amazed me most was how the manufacturers get so much into so little space . . . comfortably! How come our houses aren't like that?

  5. Sounds like you and Linda are soon to be the owners of a beautiful RV.... I love it... The only problem for me would be 'fitting' into the shower... ha ha

    Love it!!!

  6. Looks like fun is on the way!! Surely better planning that than getting out in that kind of COLD!! We had a motor home when my kids were growing up -- great way to travel with kids and we did have so much fun! We would travel for a whole month every summer and it was fantastic! Great post as always, Joe! Enjoy your week and stay WARM!

  7. It looks like you will be camping in style. I still like our Roadtrek though I must admit it was a bit more than $9000.
