A SPIRITUAL SUNDAY POST
For me: I have found that what seems to be a really terrible situation is often a blessing in disguise. Today; I know I only see a small fragment of what is really going on and that I am not “in charge.” My serenity is proportional to “living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time, and living life on life’s terms not mine.”
God has been showing me almost on a daily basis that I need to live one day at a time. Thanks for posting this. I know for certain that things are not as they seem!
ReplyDeleteY'just never know the whole story. All y'can do is deal with what's in front of you. Right this minute. And be happy that you're here to deal with it.

Joe, I try to keep that "eternal-big-picture" perspective, but I do slump frequently into "poor me" mode. I saw a bumper sticker recently that hit home, and I try to use it to jolt me back into the proper perspective. It said, "It's only one-six-billionth about you." Stickhorse Cowgirl C
ReplyDeleteGreat story with an important message. Things aren't always what they seem. We can't see or understand all the reasons why things happen, but God does. He sees the big picture and He always brings something good from bad.

It is so true. Things certainly aren't always as they seem. This cute story proves it. Thank you for sharing on Spiritual Sundays.
