  1. Everywhere I looked I saw something to make me smile. There's just something so exhilerating about watching a balloon, of any size, soar.
    Thanks for sharing the beauty!

  3. Not a bad life ..:-)
We had a similar incident: a balloon in a race just clipped a tree over our patio. One of them leant over the basket and shouted:
    "Where are we?"
I had been waiting for this moment all my life, and shouted back:
    "You're up in a balloon".
Sorry, you should have been there :-)

  5. Ah, Joe, I've only seen one balloon festival--in Fresno--but I sure did enjoy it. Those things are certainly beautiful.

When they asked if you were enjoying your coffee, you should have said you would be enjoying it more if they would let you drink it in their company up in the air.

  8. Stunning balloon and sky pictures Joe. That must have been funny carrying on a conversation with the balloonists -- adds a little something different to the morning coffee!

  9. My question is: did the balloon come down IN the tree or on the other side of the tree? When my husband and I went up in one for his 50th birthday we came too close for comfort to a power line...a bit scary. Will not take a return flight with hat owner. Loved your pictures and the You Tube minute of fun. Have a nice weekend.. Genie

  13. Looks like you had the best location to watch them. I love watching them but would be a chicken to ride in one.
