A MY QUALITY TIME POST LINKED TO “OUR WORLD” & “WATERY WEDNESDAY”.. POSTING FROM MY HOMETOWN;LANCASTER,OHIO
A quality time road trip to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula where the road ends on the shore of Lake Superior.
This is an actual photo of the Garmin mounted in my car as we arrived on the shores of Lake Superior. Linda wanted to rest up.
We are in Canadian Shield country. This rocky and rugged landscape features the highest point in Michigan, Mt Avron, and many waterfalls. The waterfalls in this area are not particularly high, but many of them are quite scenic. The cabin we stayed in was about 2 miles from Mt Avron.
Today I will show you a few photos of the smaller “roadside falls.”

“Leisure is a form of silence, not noiselessness. It is the silence of contemplation such as occurs when we let our minds rest on a rosebud, a child at play, a Divine mystery, or a waterfall.”

A photo of Jacobs Falls::Location: Keewenaw Peninsula, on MI-26, east of Eagle River.
An easily visited roadside waterfall, that is far more interesting than it first appears. A nice stop if you are headed to or from Copper Harbor. While your “stopped” right next to the falls you will find:

Maybe we will get a little rain to wash the dust from the car.
No rain just the rainbow in the distance.. We will end the day and this post with a great sunset over Lake Superior.
Hope you enjoyed the visit and will stop back soon.Would really appreciate you sharing this post. Most of the quotes from Think/Exist
