The first few photos were taken on the back deck of my house in Lancaster,Ohio on the morning of 3/01/2011. This year we have had quite a warm spell..like in the 80’s last week.

“Mount Washington is the highest peak in the Northeastern United States at 6,288 ft (1,917 m). It is famous for its dangerously erratic weather, and long held the record for the highest wind gust directly measured at the Earth's surface, 231 mph (372 km/h) (or 103 m/s), on the afternoon of April 12, 1934.” WIKIPEDIA
Thanks for stopping by and make sure to visit N.F. Waters..and.. Our World Tuesday. In this photo the far horizon is the reflection of the sun off the Atlantic Ocean and yes it was cold.
A special thanks to Mr. Frost. Robert Lee Frost (March 26, 1874 – January 29, 1963) was an American poet. He is highly regarded for his realistic depictions of rural life and his command of American colloquial speech.
