Water On The Trail

A My Quality Time Post for Watery Wednesday

One of my favorite places near Lancaster is Clear Creek Metro Park::”Clear Creek Valley is one of the most pristine and secluded natural areas in Central Ohio. Variations of land surfaces, soils and climates have produced a medley of habitats that harbor more than 800 plant species and 150 species of birds, many of them rare.”

Did you know::Record rains: Southern Ohio sites break state precipitation mark set in 1870 in Lake County. (And that was last year)

  1. I am heading there this spring to walk the creek trail. I want to see all the spring blooms along the trail.

  3. Love the pix and the info on rainy cities -- never fails to amaze me that Oregon isn't anywhere on that list... or Seattle. (I've seen similar lists before --- I guess we just get slow steady steady steady rain there, but not the heavy deluges those other cities get).

ANYWAY... did you actually find a place to link on Watery Wednesday? I wanted to join this week, but the last thing I found there is 2 weeks old. I wonder what happened?

  4. I think you may have had some rain!

Nice to see some pictures of Ohio again - I did a teacher exchange into a school in Wickliffe a few years ago and I'm keen to come back and explore with a bit more time on my hands!
