Feb 12th, 2013 Food lovers pick this day to enjoy these round, sugar-coated, fruit-filled Polish pre-Lenten pastries, pronounced “poonch-kee,” available in bakeries nationwide. Paczki Day coincides with Shrove Tuesday or Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday.

OK gorgeous skies and beautiful pictures, but lets get to the important stuff. I've never even heard of a paczki (did I even spell that anywhere close to right?), but now I want one. Guess I'll have to come to Lancaster. Unless you can e-mail me one ;)

Never heard of Paczki Day... We always had Pancakes on Shrove Tuesday --or Fat Tuesday as they say in New Orleans.
