A real beauty that one Joe. Hope you don't mind if I answer your question about the ferry to Alaska here, because my e-mail doesn't seem to be working well for some reason.
I didn't hear of anyone being seasick at all, it was a smooth voyage. (We're boat people, so pbly not the ones to ask, but one thing about this ferry is you can see land or landforms pretty much all the time, so I think that might help anyone who gets queasy out in the middle of nothin' but water).
We took a couple of tours by boat and on the one in KFNP I did see some people leaning over the rail. That was a little rougher, but not too bad. (And of course optional...there are other ways to see the park.)...
An amazing State to tour that's for sure.
