Prohibition and Kentucky at the Frazier History Museum (A Virtual Tour)
Recently Linda and I visited Louisville,Kentucky and had the chance to visit several museums. Churchill Downs & The Kentucky Derby Museum, Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, Muhammad Ali Center, and the Frazier History Museum. Today’s virtual tour will showcase Spirits of the Bluegrass: Prohibition and Kentucky. This is but one of many exciting exhibits at the Frazier.
Let’s step through the red doors.
How do you deliver whiskey??? Well, it might depend on whether it’s legal or not.
Look who is taking the photo…LOL
“Hatchetations” I like that word…………….
“An inquiry into the effects of ardent spirits upon the human body and mind : with an account of the means of preventing, and of the remedies for curing them.” Read what Benjamin Rush M.D. had to say CLICK
“Why wasn't the stuttering bootlegger allowed to enter the party? Because he couldn't speak easy.”
All is not lost…………….
If you have time check out The John Dillinger Museum and New Straitsville's Annual Moonshine Festival
Who is Linda is “hanging out with?”
That’s all folks. I hope you enjoyed the post. I hope to do a couple more posts showcasing The Frazier History Museum in Louisville, Kentucky and a post of the Muhammad Ali Center
