The Ghost of Christmas Past is the first of the three spirits (after the visitation by Jacob Marley) to haunt Ebenezer Scrooge. This angelic spirit shows Scrooge scenes from his past that occurred on or around Christmas, in order to demonstrate to him the necessity of changing his ways. “These are the shadows of things that have been. That they are what they are, do not blame me!”

Today, there is a lot of anxiety about change and maybe a yearning for a simpler world.
Cabbage Patch Kids were "adopted" each with their own individual name and birth certificate.
I really enjoyed my “Erector Set” and it was motorized.

What a lot of fun and good memories -- though a few of those tyoys were more from our kids' era than ours -- but since they are now middle-aged, that is nostalgia too! Merry Christmas to you both. (And don't be in any rush to grow up -- you're fine just as you are.)
