LIVE CONTENT LIVE CONTENT LIVE CONTENT EASIER SAID THAN DONE
To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common — this is my symphony. -William Henry Channing, (May 25, 1810 – December 23, 1884) was an American Unitarian clergyman, writer and philosopher.

The Joke Corner:
I went to our VFW last night and saw a BIG woman dancing on a table.
I said, "Good legs."
The girl giggled and said, "Do you really think so?"
I said, "Definitely! Most tables would have collapsed by now."
Cost me 6 more stitches, but...
When you’re seventy...............who cares?

On into 2019::: Looking forward to an awesome 2019. Cheers.
Life is like a journey on a train...with its stations...with changes of routes...
and with accidents ! We board this train when we are born and our parents are the ones who get our ticket. We believe they will always travel on this train with us. However, at some station our parents will get off the train, leaving us alone on this journey. As time goes by, other passengers will board the train, many of whom will be significant - our siblings, friends, children, and even the love of our life. Many will get off during the journey and leave a permanent vacuum in our lives. Many will go so unnoticed that we won't even know when they vacated their seats and got off the train ! This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, good-byes, and farewells. A good journey is helping, loving, having a good relationship with all co passengers... and making sure that we give our best to make their journey comfortable. The mystery of this fabulous journey is : We do not know at which station we ourselves are going to get off. So, we must live in the best way - adjust, forget, forgive and offer the best of what we have. It is important to do this because when the time comes for us to leave our seat... we should leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the train of life." Thank you for being one of the important passengers on my train... don't know when my station will come... don't want to miss saying: "Thank you"

When I sing, I feel like when you're first in love. It's more than sex. It's that point two people can get to they call love, when you really touch someone for the first time, but it's gigantic, multiplied by the whole audience. I feel chills. Janis Joplin…….

The Men that Don't Fit In
by: Robert W. Service
There's A race of men that don't fit in,
A race that can't stay still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin,
And they roam the world at will.
They range the field and they rove the flood,
And they climb the mountain's crest;
Theirs is the curse of the gypsy blood,
And they don't know how to rest.
If they just went straight they might go far,
They are strong and brave and true;
But they're always tired of the things that are,
And they want the strange and new.
They say: "Could I find my proper groove,
What a deep mark I would make!"
So they chop and change, and each fresh move
Is only a fresh mistake.
And each forgets, as he strips and runs
With a brilliant, fitful pace,
It's the steady, quiet, plodding ones
Who win in the lifelong race.
And each forgets that his youth has fled,
Forgets that his prime is past,
Till he stands one day, with a hope that's dead,
In the glare of the truth at last.
He has failed, he has failed; he has missed his chance;
He has just done things by half.
Life's been a jolly good joke on him,
And now is the time to laugh.
Ha, ha! He is one of the Legion Lost;
He was never meant to win;
He's a rolling stone, and it's bred in the bone;
He's a man who won't fit in. READ MORE

A Quality Time Book Review.. If Life is a Game These are the Rules
“The challenge of Rule One is to make peace with your body, so
that it can effectively serve its purpose and share its valuable lessons
of acceptance, self-esteem, respect, and pleasure. Everyone must
learn these basic principles before he is able to journey successfully
through life.” If Life Is a Game, These Are the Rules
“Every person creates his or her own reality. Authorship of your life is one of your absolute rights; yet so often people deny that they
have the ability to script the life they desire. They often use the excuse that they cannot do what they want to do or get what they desire in life because they lack the resources to do it. They look past the fundamental truth that it is not our external resources that determine our success or failure, but rather our own belief in ourselves and our willingness to create a life according to our highest aspirations. You can either engage in the blame game, making frequent use of the statement, "I couldn't b e c a u s e . . . " or you can take control of your life and shape it as you would like.”
An interesting book filled with insight and suggestions. “Life” is not necessarily a “walk in the park” and there is in my opinion no “magic button” to fix everything. I do feel there is a lesson behind everything that happens in our life as this book demonstrates so well…. Rating 8 out of 10…. I will now end the post with a Quality Time Photo taken at my favorite golf course.
Pleasant Valley Golf Lancaster,Ohio. I’m not going to tell you how many golf balls I’ve put in that pond LOL…..Have a great day
