FIRST GEOCACHING ADVENTURE IN FAIRFIELD COUNTY OHIO
My best friend Linda (also my wife) and I decided we needed to loose some weight get healthy and all that stuff. We both like to walk and hike etc. So I thought, “let’s make and adventure out of this.” Check out Geocaching web site.
There are 893,560 active geocaches around the world and Linda and I found our first one.
Roley School House Bridge
N 39° 43.483 W 082° 36.089
What you see above is the cache container, log, necklace and ring (hard to see). As I understand it you can take an item if you leave something else in its place. I need to spend some more time at their web site to figure out all the details but let’s say it was fun and different. Welcome to Geocaching
Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. To read more go to the Geocaching web site. Thanks Joe Todd and Linda.
Thanks for stopping by. If you have time please leave a comment.

SKYWATCHFRIDAY and A TRIP TO BREMEN,OHIO NEAR LANCASTER IN FAIRFIELD COUNTY OHIO
Taking Route 22 east out of Lancaster,Ohio one passes one of the remaining outdoor theaters The Skyview drive in theater
As a youth I spent many enjoyable evenings at the SKYVIEW but I don’t remember watching the movies. Next take a right on route 37 then a right on Lake Rd. and you may want to stop at Berne Station for some “refreshment”
“In 1907, Bremen, Ohio, was considered Oil City”
After the Oil boom of the 1920’s many of Bremen’s citizens returned to agriculture
Well we are almost there but a must stop is PUMPKIN VINE GOLF COURSE
Finally, I get to Bremen,Ohio but after 18 holes of golf I’m getting pretty tired. So I will have to finish this post at a later date. Some refreshment first:
Ms. Wolfe served a foot long hot dog and soft drink for $3.00 (Not Bad)
Make sure to stop by SkyWatchFriday to see some beautiful skies.
