OHIO SKIES FOR SKY WATCH FRIDAY IN THE BEAUTIFUL HOCKING HILLS
A SKYWATCH POST
Beautiful skies from all around the world.
He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
Author: Bible
Source: Matthew (ch. XVI, v. 2-3)
Life is like this: sometimes sun, sometimes rain
“THE SKY IS LOW,THE CLOUDS ARE MEAN” EMILY DICKINSON
“The sky is low, the clouds are mean,
A travelling flake of snow
Across a barn or through a rut
Debates if it will go.
A narrow wind complains all day
How some one treated him;
Nature, like us, is sometimes caught
Without her diadem.”

“NAILS IN A FENCE” FOR SCENIC SUNDAY
Click on the SCENIC SUNDAY link to see some great scenes from around the world.
From the internet says “Author Unknown.” I received in an Email from J.R. (Thanks J.R.)
When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound will still be there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.
Please forgiveme if I have ever left a ' hole ' in your fence. Joe Todd
The photo of the Oak Tree was taken at Chestnut Ridge Metro Park. Then I used a free program “FotoSketcher” to get the effects in the second picture.
I will leave you with this thought, “A White Pickett Fence has no nails or nail holes.” Maybe something to strive for?

WINTER SKIES & EDITORIAL::WHY NO SLEDDING ?
A SKY WATCH FRIDAY POST
Linda and I on our recent “road trip” visited her Mom and Brothers (Near Chicago) and this is what the skies looked like after dropping 12 inches of snow LOL. Then on to Toledo,Ohio where we visited my son Nathan his wife Cassie and the GRANDKIDS.
NOW “WHY NO SLEDDING”
1. Sledding might be healthy
2. Excess Fresh Air and Sunshine (POSSIBLE OVER PRODUCTION OF VITAMIN D)
3. Decrease in sales of video games etc. etc. Less texting minutes used, and the off chance children might talk to one another.
DANGER: The children in the above photos have taken a stand FOR SLEDDING. Please contact any and all politicians. Hearings must be held. Impose new taxes and fines on all sled makers and this trend can be stopped in it’s sled tracks.
