MAIN OUTDOOR WATERY WEDNESDAY POST NEXT POST DOWN….
A MY WORLD Tuesday,WATERY,OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY POST
(CONKLES HOLLOW IN THE HOCKING HILLS NEAR LANCASTER,OHIO)
The well was dry beside the door,
And so we went with pail and can
Across the fields behind the house
To seek the brook if still it ran;
Not loth to have excuse to go,
Because the autumn eve was fair
(Though chill), because the fields were ours,
And by the brook our woods were there.
We ran as if to meet the moon
That slowly dawned behind the trees,
The barren boughs without the leaves,
Without the birds, without the breeze.
But once within the wood, we paused
Like gnomes that hid us from the moon,
Ready to run to hiding new
With laughter when she found us soon.
Each laid on other a staying hand
To listen ere we dared to look,
And in the hush we joined to make
We heard, we knew we heard the brook.
A note as from a single place,
A slender tinkling fall that made
Now drops that floated on the pool
Like pearls, and now a silver blade.
Thank you Mr. Robert Frost for your beautiful poem.

A SPIRITUAL SCENIC SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY
In Ohio this year we have snow hanging on tree limbs making an attempt to look like Spanish Moss. ( LOL )
Probably, one of the more rewarding things I’ve done with my life is to have planted hundreds and hundreds of trees. Mostly pine, walnut, maple, and fruit trees. I’ve cut a few trees down also. One year I heated our home with a wood stove and a lot of firewood. There is something special about splitting wood and the smell of smoke in the air. On the snowy day I took this photo there was the smell of an upcoming storm and smoke in the air.
In a previous post I’ve talked about Ohio’s Gray/Grey skies. Let me ask you, “Is this next photo color or black&white?” ( Maybe Just HAUNTED )
Ok how about a splash of color
To LEAF or not to LEAF That is the Question or Into Each Life a Little Leaf Must Fall.
But, I am thinking Spring is right around the corner and then the “fruits” of Summer.

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.John Muir
A man has made at least a start on discovering the meaning of human life when he plants shade trees under which he knows full well he will never sit. D. Elton Trueblood

A SKY WATCH FRIDAY POST
IN LANCASTER OHIO WHERE THINGS ARE GRAY/GREY
LENGTHENING DAYS
As the days grow longer
The storms grow stronger.
MARCH WINDS
March winds and April showers
Bring forth May flowers.
One misty moisty morning,When cloudy was the weather,I chanced to meet an old man,Clothed all in leather. He began to compliment And I began to grin. How do you do? And how do you do?
And how do you do again?
Spring is showery, flowery, bowery;Summer—hoppy, croppy, poppy;Autumn—wheezy, sneezy, freezy;Winter—slippy, drippy, nippy.
A sunshiny shower Won’t last half an hour.
Whether the weather be fine,Or whether the weather be not,Whether the weather be cold,Or whether the weather be hot,We'll weather the weather Whatever the weather,Whether we like it or not!
It has been a long time since I’ve read MOTHER GOOSE NURSERY RHYMES So have a great day and send Red Rover around the Mulberry Bush LOL

General Sherman looks a little chilly as he looks across the street at the fountain.
The General being an astute strategist says, “I think I’ll head South.”
