A quality time road trip to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula where the road ends on the shore of Lake Superior.
We are in Canadian Shield country. This rocky and rugged landscape features the highest point in Michigan, Mt Avron, and many waterfalls. The waterfalls in this area are not particularly high, but many of them are quite scenic. The cabin we stayed in was about 2 miles from Mt Avron.
Today I will show you a few photos of the smaller “roadside falls.”

A photo of Jacobs Falls::Location: Keewenaw Peninsula, on MI-26, east of Eagle River.
An easily visited roadside waterfall, that is far more interesting than it first appears. A nice stop if you are headed to or from Copper Harbor. While your “stopped” right next to the falls you will find:
